Description
The Old Farmhouse, formerly known as College Farm, is an L-shaped building located at Lancing College. The southwest wing likely dates from the 17th century and has been altered, restored, and refaced. It is two storeys high with four windows, featuring red brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. The roof is made of Horsham slabs and includes two large and two small gables, with casement windows.
The northeast wing is an early 19th-century addition, also two storeys tall with three windows and three gables. This section is faced with flints accented by red brick dressings and quoins. The southernmost and central window bays have been refaced, with roughcast on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. The roof is tiled, and the windows are sash with intact glazing bars. A modern porch has been added to the building.
