Description

The Old Paint Shop is an 18th-century building located on the east side of Alfriston High Street, attached to the south of Tye Cottage. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring four windows and two dormers. The exterior is made of painted brick and includes a string course and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and tiled, with intact glazing bars. The Old Paint Shop also has a 19th-century shop window with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a long low wing that is faced with flints and weather-boarding.
