Steamer Cottage, also known as The Old Farmhouse, is a 15th-century building that has been restored and is now divided into two separate residences. The structure features a timber frame with close-studding and plaster infilling, while the ground floor has been rebuilt using flints and red brick. The south end of the first floor is tile-hung. The building has a tiled roof, with slates at the south end, and includes casement windows. It stands two storeys high and has three windows. There are reports that the interior may contain wall paintings.
