Description
The south-west stable block to Patcham Place, located on London Road in Patcham, is an 18th-century structure. The central portion features a cobble-faced design with quoins, complemented by yellow brick and painted brick dressings. The building has a gabled centerpiece that includes a central round-arched entrance with brick dressings resembling quoins and an archivolt, which is now painted. There are semicircular windows on either side, also with brick dressings, and a brick dentil cornice. The centerpiece has quoins and a keyed oculus in the pediment. Narrow unwindowed wings flank the centerpiece, leading to brick extensions that have flat-arched entrances at either end. The overall roof is hipped, and there is a low range of brick and flint to the north with a hipped tiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
