Description

The White House is an early 19th-century house. It has stucco walls with stone cills and a hipped slate roof. The east front is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and three windows. The windows are sashes, with narrow side panes. The front door is six-panelled and is sheltered by a late 19th-century slate hood on posts. Recessed walls flank the entrance, each with a curving top that drops to a pier. Later, in the late 19th century, single-storey extensions were added to the rear of the building.
