Description
A pair of houses dating from circa 1830, located in Lewes. The properties are constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with the right-hand side elevation being slate-hung. They have a slate roof. The houses are three storeys high; the top floor of No. 10 features a six-pane sash window. The lower floors of both houses have twelve-pane sashes. No. 10 has a doorcase with a round-headed fanlight and keystones, leading to a six-panelled door. No. 9 features a 20th-century metal-framed casement window on the second floor, and a similar doorcase, but with a 20th-century brick and glazed porch. The buildings are included in the listing for their group value.
