Description

The Lewes Arms Public House is an early 19th-century house, now a public house. It is constructed of brown brick with a wooden eaves soffit to a slate roof. The front facade is rounded. The building is three storeys high and has three windows, featuring glazing bar sashes; the second-floor windows are shallower and all have painted gauged heads. A larger transom and mullion casement window is located on the ground floor to the right. The central entrance is arched, with a panelled door and a fanlight containing two glazing bars. The arch has painted gauging with a keyblock. A half-glazed door is situated at the extreme left.
