Description

No 23 Fisher Street is an early 19th-century house located on a prominent corner site. The building is constructed of black headers with red brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks. It stands three storeys tall, with two windows facing Fisher Street and one window facing Commercial Square. The Fisher Street elevation includes one blank section on both floors. The second-floor windows are 8-paned sashes, while the other windows are mainly 16-pane casements. The door surrounds have been converted, and there is a 20th-century door, rounded corner, stuccoed cornice, and plinth.
