Description
The stable block, dating from the 19th century, is located 25 meters west of Marwell House. It features flint panels with brick dressings and a slate roof. The central part of the building is two stories high and has three bays, with plain giant pilasters at each end and a wide, low-pitched gable-like pediment. The central double doors conceal a brick arch with a keystone. On either side of the central doors are round-headed six-pane sash windows. There is a string course at the first floor level, above which are round-headed doors and lunette three-light windows on either side. In the gable, there is a round-headed niche. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with a central round-headed six-pane sash window and a low-pitched roof. To the left, there is a similarly sized wing with a timber front featuring two sets of double doors.
