Description

Farmside Cottages is a cottage built in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof. The cottage features a four-window range, with the right window being part of a 19th-century extension. It has one and a half storeys and displays 18th-century monk bond brickwork. A 19th-century door is located to the left of the center, while the 18th-century windows are three-light camber headed casements, with a matching 19th-century window at the right end. To the right of the center, there is an 18th-century gabled dormer with bargeboards and a two-light window featuring a gothic glazing pattern. A similar window is found at the right end, and this gothic glazing pattern was previously present in other windows. The cottage has an 18th-century ridge stack above the door and a gabled stack at the right end.
