Description
Knights Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 16th century, with elements from the 17th century and early 19th century, and was restored in the 20th century. It features timber-framed walls with infill made of painted brick and ironstone, along with brickwork on the lean-to structures at both ends. The cottage has a hipped tile roof and flat-roofed dormers with cills at each level. It is a timber-framed house with a 17th-century timber-framed extension and additional structures at each end. The building has one storey and an attic, with irregular window arrangements. The windows are 20th-century casements. There is a boarded door set in a plain frame, located within an open porch that has a tiled gable supported by posts.
