Description
This terrace comprises three houses, numbers 1, 2, and 3, located on Pipe Passage in Lewes. Dating from around 1830, the buildings are constructed of stucco with slate roofs. They are two storeys high. Each house has two sixteen-pane sashes on the first floor, each with a cambered architrave. Numbers 1 and 2 feature wooden doorcases on the left side, including open pediments on pilasters, a round-headed fanlight with keystones, and eight-panelled doors. Number 1 includes a ‘Gothick’ shaped footscraper. Number 3 possesses a doorcase with a dentilled cornice and bracket, along with a rectangular fanlight. These houses demonstrate group value with neighbouring listed buildings.
