Description

The Estate Office at Petworth House is an office building that dates back to the 18th century, with the north wing being the oldest part. It is two storeys high and features four windows, constructed from stone rubble with a hipped slate roof. The glazing bars are intact. The south wing, which was formerly a house, was added around 1820 and is three storeys tall with four windows, finished in stucco. It has a moulded cornice and parapet, with glazing bars intact above the ground floor. There is a solid porch that connects to a small single-storeyed building at right angles.
