Description

Garden House Antiques is a former house now operating as a shop, originally listed as the premises of Bacon & Co. The building dates from the 17th century or earlier and stands on the north corner of Saddler's Row and Pound Street. It has two storeys and features three windows. The ground floor is constructed of painted stone rubble, while the upper floor is tile-hung with a bellcast between the two levels. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, with a pentice behind. The building has half-casement windows, although modern shop windows have been added.
