Description

Two barns, joined, located 60 metres north-east of Abbey House, date from the early and late 18th century. The southern barn features a timber frame with five bays and aisles all around, supported by a Queen post truss. Its walls are made of brick, and the roof is covered with asbestos sheeting. The northern barn is wider and lower, with a half-hipped tiled roof that has lower eaves above brick walls constructed in Flemish Garden Wall bond. This barn also includes a central projecting waggon entrance topped with a hipped roof.
