Description

This is a late 17th or early 18th century range of buildings on Chapel Street. It is a single storey with an attic, and originally had three windows alternating with two doorways. The roof has a high pitch and is hipped, tiled, with one chimney at the right hip and two others along the ridge. The front is roughcast, with a prominent plinth. The roofline features large, hipped, gabled dormers that are flush with the front and break the eaves. Most of the windows are sash windows with glazing bars in flush box frames, although one has been replaced. A late 19th century sash window without glazing bars is located centrally on the ground floor. The entrances feature six-panel doors within plain box frames, each protected by a bracketed cornice hood. A small window has been inserted under the eaves.
