Description

The Parish Church of St John the Baptist is a Grade I listed church located on the west side of Sutton The Street. The building features a chancel, a nave with a north transept, a south aisle, a south porch, and a west tower topped with a shingled cap. The nave and aisle date from the late 12th century, with some 11th-century work present. The tower was constructed around 1300, while the chancel and transept were built in the 14th century.
