Description

Hopkins is a house and shop, now used as a house, dating from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed structure with exposed timbering and plaster infilling on the north wall, but has been refronted with coursed stone and red brick dressings and quoins. The building has a tiled roof and includes some casement windows alongside sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two small bays with a tiled hood above that originally covered the entrance to the Post Office and the shop front.
