Description

The Parish Church of St Margaret is a Grade I listed building located in West Hoathly, specifically on the east side of Queen's Square. The church features a chancel with a south chapel, a nave with a south aisle and porch, and a west tower topped with a broached shingled spire. The nave dates back to around 1060, while the south aisle was constructed around 1175 and widened around 1330. The chancel was built circa 1250, and the south chapel dates from around 1270. The tower was added around 1400. The church underwent restoration by Slater and Carpenter in 1870.
