Description

Nos. 13 and 14 Little East Street are a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of grey brick with red brick detailing, including the pattern of brickwork between the windows on the first and ground floors, and between the window openings and doors. Red brick is also used for the quoins and decorative elements. The roof is tiled, with chimney stacks at each end, and features two flat-headed dormers. The front of the houses is regularly designed with two windows each, with the brick patterning defining the window positions. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars, set within red brick surrounds with arched tops. A central, arched entranceway provides access to the front doors, with the entrance to the left slightly raised in comparison to the one on the right. The doors are boarded, and the door on the right has a small inset window and a painted fanlight above, while the door on the left has a plain fanlight.
