Description
Nether Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a stone slate roof featuring stone coped gables. The building has two storeys and is equipped with one stone ridge stack and one gable end stack.
On the south elevation, there is a central doorway that has a chamfered stone surround and a 20th-century half-glazed door. To the left of the doorway, there is a single light window with a flush stone surround, and to the right, there is a two-light square section flush mullion window. The first floor features two two-light square section flush mullion windows.
