Description

Bank Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage constructed from coursed stone with a graded stone slate roof. It features a verge parapet and an end stack on the right side, along with a cyma recta moulded eaves band. The building is two stories high and has a single-window front, which includes block dressed four-pane sashes. There is a cornice on the ground floor and raised quoins on the right-hand side. A later entrance is located on the right-hand return. It is likely that this cottage was originally part of a larger house that extended to the left side, which has since been demolished.
