Description
This wall, located on the west side of Bath Gardens, connects Rutland Buildings to Haig House. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is constructed of coursed sandstone. The wall stands approximately 3 meters high and features quoins, an offset above an ashlar band, and plain ashlar copings. A straight section of the wall is adjacent to the north-east corner of Rutland Buildings and includes a pedestrian gateway with a chamfered surround. The wall then curves in a quadrant to link with Haig House on Bath Street.
