Description
Bridge House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Woodhouse Lane in Rowsley. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof, which has two ashlar ridge stacks and an ashlar gable stack. The west elevation consists of two plus bays, with an angled design that suggests it was built in two phases. The left two bays have angle quoins.
The central doorway has stone jambs and a lintel, topped with a moulded bracketed hood, and features a panelled door. This doorway is flanked by glazing bar sash windows set in ashlar surrounds, with two similar windows located above. To the right, there are two additional glazing bar sashes on each floor, and on the ground floor, there is a small pane casement. A low wall attached to the west encloses the front garden.
