Description

The Slaughter House is an early 19th-century building located on Chapel Lane in Tissington. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings and features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The building is single storey.

On the east elevation, there is a central doorway framed by a lintel and jambs made of three dressed stones. To the left of the doorway, there is a large rectangular window with a stone lintel, sill, and jambs, which includes wooden louvres. To the right, there is a partly blocked louvred opening with a stone lintel, alongside another doorway also featuring a stone lintel.
