Description
The house and outbuilding, located south of the slaughterhouse, date back to 1836. They are constructed from coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings, featuring plain tile roofs and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. The house is two storeys tall, while the outbuildings are single storey.
On the south elevation, there is a doorway with a stone lintel and jambs, which leads to a 2-light square section flush mullion window. Above this, there is a single window with a stone lintel, sill, and jambs. To the right, there are two cart entrances that have massive impost slabs and massive lintels. The east gable end features a square opening with a stone lintel, sill, and jambs, along with a plank door. In the gable, there is a similar but larger opening, and above it, a datestone. This building is listed for its group value only.
