Description

Allgreave Bridge is a road bridge built in 1855, constructed of buff gritstone, spanning Clough Brook. It features a semi-circular arch with a span of 30 feet, supported by battered abutments and battered buttresses. The bridge has a rock-faced exterior, except for the ashlar archivolt and parapets, which rest on plain projecting bands.
