Description
This is a 17th-century outbuilding located to the northwest of Flagg Hall. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a plain tile roof. There are remnants of a stack on the western gable. The building has two storeys and three bays.
On the eastern side, there is a chamfered quoined doorcase featuring a massive lintel and a plank door. To the west, there is a 3-light chamfered mullion window, followed by another similar doorcase and window. Above these, there are two 2-light chamfered mullion windows that are placed somewhat irregularly; one is almost directly above the western door, while the other is situated between the window and the eastern door.
