Description
The Dutch barn, located approximately 50 yards north of Warslow Hall, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with hammer dressed ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The south side of the barn has six bays, with the three right-hand bays open at the front. The two bays left of center have their upper halves boarded and were used as implement sheds at the time of re-survey. The left-hand bay is lofted and includes a gate at each end of a low front wall, which may have been a former pig sty. On the north side, there are two rows of six ventilation slits and a blocked round-headed carriage arch to the left of center, which has a raised keystone. Inside, the barn features a bolted queen-post roof.
