Description
The stables and cottage, located to the northwest of Wormhill Hall, date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring quoins, coped gables, moulded kneelers, and a stone slated roof. The west elevation consists of a two-storey range with an off-centre archway that provides access to the inner courtyard; this archway has quoins and a shallow arched head. There is a blocked doorway to the north of the archway and a blocked taller double doorway with an arched head to the south. Additionally, there are two small rectangular openings in the overloft. The cottage is situated at the north end and has a 19th-century extension to the west. This building is listed for its group value only.
