Description
Barleigh Ford Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has likely been altered and extended over time. It is constructed of brick and stone, with the front rendered around 1980, and features roofs made of Kerridge stone-slate. The building has two storeys and four windows on the front, each with three lights and mullions that are chamfered to an almost triangular section. There is a gabled oak porch added in the late 20th century, which includes a boarded door. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to contain a pair of large crucks, oak beams, a carved inglenook hoodbeam dated 1635, and oak panelling.
