Description

Nos 1 to 3 The Green is a terrace of three cottages built in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from coursed limestone and feature a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and plain kneelers. There are two brick ridge stacks. The terrace has four bays and is two storeys high, with the central cottage being double fronted. The south elevation is symmetrical.

No 1, on the right, has a doorway with a plank door and a bracketed stone hood. To the right of this doorway is a 2-light wooden casement window with glazing bars, and there is a similar window above. No 2 has a central doorway similar to that of No 1, with similar windows on each side and above. No 3 mirrors No 1, featuring the same details. The cottages are listed for their group value only.
