Description

The Churchyard Cross, dating from the 15th century, is located on the north side of Church Street in the parish of Ashford in the Water. It features a base made of gritstone, consisting of a four-stepped octagonal stone base. Above this is a tapering octagonal stone column that has a moulded top and worn decoration on its upper part. There is a hole in the center of the column, which was originally intended to hold the rest of the cross, now missing.
