Description

This former cottage, stables, cartshed, wash house, privy, and dovecote, located 10 yards northwest of Dud View Farm, dates back to 1884. It is constructed from coursed and squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, with a clay tile roof that has coped verges and ashlar ridge stacks. The building is a single range with an extension at the rear; the wash house is to the south, while the cottage is to the north, and the stables and cartshed are in the center.

The structure is two storeys high, with double-leaved carriage doors on the left and a glazing bar sash window above. There are also a pair of doors to the left of center and another door to the right of center. The cottage section on the right has two glazing bar sash windows and a central door. On the south gable end, there is a wash house door to the left and a tall glazing bar sash window to the right, complete with a straight dripstone above. A datestone is positioned above the center with a loft opening above it. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension that houses the privy, with a dovecote entrance located above.
