Description
This sundial, located 6 meters south of St Anne's Church in the parish of Baslow and Bubnell, is set on steps that are part of a medieval cross, dating from the 15th century and 18th century. It is made of gritstone and has a square plan. The sundial features a base consisting of four steps, with the lower three likely being remnants of the medieval cross. Above this base is a square gritstone base and shaft, which has stop-chamfered angles, topped by the sundial itself.
