Description
Holdworth Cottage is a house dated 1752, constructed from deeply coursed, squared gritstone with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features two windows on the first floor. It has a plinth and large quoins, with a doorway located to the left of centre. The doorway has gritstone jambs and a deep chamfered lintel, which is also dated. The windows are all square-faced mullions with wooden casements, including a three-light window to the left of the doorway and a two-light window to the right, with matching windows on the second floor. The front of the building displays moulded kneelers and square-cut copings, while the gable stacks have been rebuilt.
