Description
Hall Farmhouse is a Grade II* listed farmhouse, dated 1587. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar quoins, dressings, and facing to the porch, topped with stone slate roofs featuring coped verges on kneelers and ashlar integral end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan formed by the main range and a crosswing, with the porch and service wing projecting to the front and rear, respectively.
The farmhouse is two storeys high, with a gable end on the left side that includes an integral chimney with three diagonal shafts. There is a narrow bay to the left of the centre and a central projecting two-storey gabled porch topped with a ball finial. To the right, there is a single bay. The windows are chamfered mullioned, with the porch window having three lights, the ground floor window to the right having three lights, the first floor window to the right having four lights, and the window to the left of the porch having two lights. The porch features a first-floor offset with vase carvings at both corners and flat hood moulds over the first-floor window, along with a datestone above. The central doorway has a cambered lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
