Description
This is a mid-19th century outbuilding located to the north-west of The Flat in Tideswell Market Square. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble limestone arranged in diminishing courses, featuring pick-faced gritstone dressings and quoins. The building has plain gables and a stone slated roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with quoined surrounds on all openings. The ground floor includes a cart arch with a segmental head and double planked doors, alongside a single doorway with a plain planked door that has a rectangular light. On the first floor, there is a full height doorway and a lower taking-in doorway, both with plain planked doors. This outbuilding is listed for its group value.
