Description
The Basset Memorial is a chest tomb located 7 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the Church of St Bartholomew in Longnor. It commemorates Robert Basset, who died in 1788. The tomb is made of stone and features a break-fronted design with apsidal ends and a moulded top slab. An oval inscription panel is set on a stone plinth, and the memorial was formerly enclosed by a railing.
