Description

This is a mid-18th century farm outbuilding located to the northeast of Foxlowe House in Tideswell. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring quoins and a hipped roof covered with stone slates. The building has two storeys and two bays, with two doorways that have quoined surrounds and massive lintels. One of the doorways has been blocked and converted into a window. Above the doorways, there are two stone-framed windows; one has a glazing bar sash, while the other features 20th-century joinery. The outbuilding is listed for its group value with Foxlowe House.
