Description

The garden wall at Yew Tree Cottage is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of irregular limestone rubble topped with ashlar sandstone copings. The wall stands approximately 2 meters high and stretches about 13 meters in length, featuring quoins at the side gate to Yew Tree Cottage. It runs along the footpath on the north side of Bagshaw Hill and is part of a group with Yew Tree Cottage, which adds to its significance.
