Description
This building is a cartshed with an attached henhouse and pigsty, located about 50 yards east of Elilaw Farmhouse. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed from dressed stone with a Welsh slate roof.
The structure features six segmental arches supported by square piers. There is a boarded door leading into the henhouse on the right side. The henhouse is situated above the pigsty, which has its entrance on the right side of the building. An exercise yard that was once part of the structure has been partly demolished. Additionally, there are two arched entries to the henhouse, also located on the right side, which have stone alighting ledges. The roof is hipped on the right side.
