Description

28 West End is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is built of ashlar stone and has a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The right-hand bay features a half-glazed door with a plain lintel, and to its right is a small four-pane sash window set in a chamfered surround. The central bay contains one-light chamfered windows with casements on both the ground and first floors. The other windows on both floors are twelve-pane side-sliding sashes in plain stone surrounds. The house has shaped kneelers and stone coping on the left side, with a stack at the left end and another on the ridge.
