Description
33 West End is a house and barn, now combined into one structure, dating from the early 19th century. It is built of ashlar stone with a pantile roof and has two storeys and four bays. The building features quoins. To the right of the left-hand bay, there are two steps leading up to the original six-panel door with a lintel above. The right-hand bay has a 20th-century board garage door, and the lintel above extends into the next bay. Between these two bays are two 20th-century 12-pane casement windows. The left-hand bay has a 12-pane side-sliding sash window. On the first floor, the two left-hand bays have 12-pane side-sliding sashes, while the two bays to the right have inserted 20th-century casements. All windows have stone sills and plain lintels. The building features a kneeler, stone coping, and an end stack to the right, with one stack on the ridge. This property is included for its group value.
