Description

No. 58 West End is a house from the early 19th century that has undergone some later alterations. It is built of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The house has two storeys and three bays. There are two stone steps leading up to a central six-panel door, which features a plain overlight and is set within a moulded architrave. The door is framed by a stone Doric doorcase with half-columns, a frieze, and a cornice. On either side of the door, there are canted bay windows with four-pane sash windows, stone sills, friezes, and cornices. On the first floor, there are also four-pane sash windows with stone sills and flat painted arches. The roof features shaped kneelers, stone coping, and end stacks.
