Description

This tombstone, dating from 1696, is located approximately 10 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Peter in Osmotherley. It is made of stone and features a short rectangular block shape with a segmental hoodmould that has scrolled ends. The inscription, although worn, reads 'Mr Weighill and Wife Elizabeth 1696...........'.
