Description

This chest tomb, dated 1702, is located approximately 6 metres south of the transept of the Church of St Peter in Thornbury. It is made of squared stone with a slate lid. The tomb features a border inscription that is nearly illegible, along with an epitaph in the center and a carved skull and hourglass.
