Description
The farm buildings attached to Manor Farmhouse are early 19th century structures that include cart-sheds, byres, and a workshop. They are built from squared sandstone with red brick piers supporting the cart-sheds, and feature pantile roofs. The buildings form single-storey ranges around three sides of a yard, with a 1-2-storey cart-shed and loft located at the end of the right central range. The byre openings consist of stable doors, while the workshop has a similar door flanked by slatted shuttered windows. The rear of the cart-shed features three segment-arched openings, and there are two shuttered pitching windows on the gable end. These buildings are included for their group value with the Manor Farmhouse.
