Description

Brentwood is a late 18th-century house, with alterations and an extension from the 19th century. The front is constructed of squared sandstone, while the sides and rear are of coursed sandstone rubble, with herringbone-tooled quoins. The roof is pantile, and the house has brick stacks. The house is arranged with a central entrance, one room deep, and includes an outshut. The two-storey, three-window front features a central C20 glazed door above which is a small single-pane sash window. The remaining windows are tripartite sashes, all with stone sills and tripartite keyed lintels. A stepped eaves course is present, along with coped and quoined gables featuring shaped kneelers. There are end stacks.
