Description
The farm buildings located approximately seven metres east of Howlet Hall farmhouse date from the late 18th century and consist of a cowhouse, pigsty, and boiling house. They are constructed from herringbone-tooled sandstone and feature a pantile roof. The structure is 1½ storeys high and has four bays. There is a left-of-centre doorway with two window openings to the right, and a ventilation slit in the left end bay. The door and window openings are rebated. The roof is hipped at the left end and has a coped gable at the right end, which includes dove holes. This range is part of one side of the farmyard of Howlet Hall farm and is included for its group value.
